The apartment is located in a beautiful house from the 17th century in the Old Town in Stockholm. The assignment was to replace an existing 80s kitchen with a turn-of-the-century style ditto.
To make maximum use of the limited space, our team chose to design a custom-made kitchen.
Kitchen cupboards were painted with linseed oil paint and a worktop made from old floorboards gives the right solid feel that fits perfectly with the apartment's existing ceiling beams and 70 cm wide floorboards.
The walls and the corner pantry, designed to look like a cold pantry, were clad in tongue and groove wood panel and painted with linseed oil paint.
